You religious people.
So I can put them in a box.

Bring me all of your warm laughhs,

So I may wrap them in a soft yellow cloth
Where only hearts who see happiness may see. -LW

Bring me the fun times.
So that I may wrap them in cool feelings
and be in peace from the world. -PT

Bring me all your warm memories,
I amy take them away to a

so that I can soak them up with a gently touch of feeling

Thanks for responding so soon. My students will be so excited to hear your response. In the past they have written to authors with no response, so they will be bouncing off the walls tomorrow.

I heard Allan Wolf with Sara Holbrook when they presented at NCTE a couple of years ago--absolutely inspiring. I need to order his book. I've been enjoying the "poem a day chapbook challenge this month" from Poetic Asides.

Being accountable to a group--even a group of strangers or virtual friends--has kept me writing since April. The feedback in fun too.
