Little Books

I found these small books, handmade in Nepal, in the SERRV catalog and couldn't resist. I ordered a bunch for Liz Cronan's 5th graders at Sugar Loaf Elementary, and sometime next week they should be receiving their New Year gifts. I've ordered another round, so if these small books show up at some point on your doorstep, you'll know who sent them.

Here are three standing beside THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE on the side of our record shelf. Anyone recognize Linda Ronstadt?

One lone little book beside Anton Bruckner!

'
Each page could hold a word. Or a haiku written tiny. This could be a great way to work through writer's block. One small page at a time.

A book in the hand is worth more than------fill in the blank!

Happy New Year to all of you NC writers and Readers.
